Chelsea Checkerboard Scroll Hand-Hooked Wool Rug - Black / Ivory

A harlequin diamond field framed by scrolling filigree brings architectural structure and classic European ornament together. Contrasting black and ivory diamonds fill the field, framed by ivory scrollwork on a dark border. Hooked by hand with a looped wool pile that keeps the diagonal grid defined and firm. The 3/8-inch looped wool pile provides a textured, resilient surface underfoot with natural warmth. Featuring a marvelous selection of American Country, floral blooms, and turn-of-the-century European designs, the Chelsea Rug Collection adds a warm, welcoming aspect to room decor. Chelsea is made using 100% pure virgin wool, hand-hooked to a durable cotton backing. This collection is handmade exclusively for Safavieh. A geometric harlequin checkerboard fills the central field, surrounded by a formal scrollwork border. The pairing delivers classic transitional symmetry with high visual impact. A rich charcoal black ground carries a contrasting warm ivory checkerboard and border filigree. The bold tonal contrast anchors high-traffic areas and grounds open layouts.
