Izmir Concentric Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Rug - Rust / Light Blue

A formal octagonal medallion anchors an expansive tribal field enclosed by concentric geometric borders. Warm rust tones set against soft light blue accents create a balanced, gently contrasting palette. Tied one knot at a time. The process is slow and exacting, and the rug holds its pattern and structure for generations. A cropped 1/8-inch pile keeps the intricate geometric linework sharply defined while offering a smooth, grounding texture underfoot. The Izmir Rug Collection displays distinctive designs in luxuriant, finely worsted New Zealand wool. Timeless floral and geometric motifs are masterfully hand-knotted in the rich hues and loop pile of these posh floor coverings. A chic addition to traditional or classy-contemporary home decor. A prominent octagonal medallion commands the center, surrounded by stepped geometric infill and multiple framing guard borders. The classical tribal composition introduces structured symmetry with a storied aesthetic. Deep copper and terracotta rust ground the center, framed by an expansive teal field carrying mottled ochre and sage accents. The earthy palette brings grounded warmth to large, light-filled rooms.
