Tufted by hand from pure wool, creating a dense, resilient surface that keeps the concentric linework well defined. A substantial 3/4-inch wool pile provides dense, supportive cushioning underfoot. Natural wool fibers recover well from footsteps and naturally gain subtle luster with extended use in a home. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. A clean geometric grid of repeating diamond motifs spans edge to edge in a modern geometric layout. The continuous linear rhythm anchors an open room without visual clutter. A balanced slate grey ground is woven with steel blue tones and fine flecks of off-white yarn. The heathered mix grounds an airy, light-filled space and hides everyday walking paths between cleanings.
