Metro Distressed Damask Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Light Blue / Ivory

An open damask scroll layout softened by subtle tonal contrast, bridging classic ornamental structure with understated modern texture. Soft ivory raised elements set against a light blue ground create a gentle, low-contrast harmony. Tufted by hand from pure wool yarns, creating a dense surface that preserves the soft scrollwork lines through everyday use. The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot while maintaining clearance under low furniture. Natural wool fibers soften with time and gain character with age. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. Curving ornamental palmettes and stylized floral motifs repeat in a seamless, borderless field. The transitional styling lends classical elegance without formal weight. Soft ivory and cream raised yarns sit over a base of heathered sky blue, muted slate, and oatmeal tones. The gentle contrast reflects ambient daylight to visually expand intimate spaces.
