An oversized scrolling damask layers baroque ornament over a horizontally striated, modern ground. A quiet light gray accent brings gentle, tonal contrast to the clean ivory ground that carries the scrolling motif. Tufted by hand from pure wool, dense enough to hold the carved scrolling motifs sharp against the textured ground. Offers dense, supportive cushioning underfoot. Natural wool fibers hold their loft and build character the longer they live in a home. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. A classic damask motif interpreted with oversized scale and fluid scrolling acanthus leaves. The open repeat bridges traditional architectural detailing with modern spatial restraint. A horizontally striated silver ground supports warm ivory scrolls outlined in dark charcoal accents. The light-toned field brightens low-light spaces without washing out.
