Metro Interlocking Scroll Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Silver / Ivory

An architectural arabesque trellis framed by a cross-motif border brings balanced transitional symmetry to open living spaces. Luminous ivory motifs stand in soft, low-contrast relief against a cool silver ground. Tufted by hand from pure wool, using high-low carving to sculpt the scrolling motifs cleanly above the looped ground. The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot. Wool naturally insulates and deepens in character over time. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. Repeating arabesque cartouches interlock across the central field, bordered by a repeating cross-and-star patterned band that frames the symmetrical layout. Raised cream motifs sit over a mottled slate grey field with subtle flecks of charcoal. The light-toned relief brightens low-light spaces while remaining grounded by the heathered base.
