Metro Scalloped Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Brown - 6'-0" x 6'-0"

Concentric bands of overlapping semicircles build outward in a rhythmic progression that nods to mid-century modern textile art. A chocolate field establishes high warm contrast alongside lively accents of tan and rust. Tufted by hand from wool, dense enough to hold the curved contours clean and distinct across the pile. The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot. Pure wool deepens in character and natural sheen over time. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. Overlapping scallop registers expand outward from a central columnar axis to create a graphic mid-century modern composition. Symmetrical curved geometry anchors the field with balanced architectural rhythm. A sandy blush ground frames concentric rings of warm caramel, chestnut, and dark espresso wool yarns. The earthy tonal contrast anchors bright, light-flooded rooms.
