Metro Scalloped Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Grey - 9'-0" x 12'-0"

Concentric bands of overlapping semicircles build outward in a rhythmic progression that nods to mid-century modern textile art. Deep navy and charcoal accents anchor the motif against a neutral light grey ground. Tufted by hand from wool, dense enough to hold the curved contours clean and distinct across the pile. The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial cushion underfoot. Pure wool deepens in character and natural sheen over time. The Metro Rug Collection features the newest classy-casual area rugs by Safavieh. Metro rugs are hand-tufted using pure wool with a cushion-soft cotton backing. You'll find a smart selection of decor-friendly designs perfect for any living room, family room or bedroom. Overlapping scallop registers expand outward from a central columnar axis to create a graphic mid-century modern composition. Symmetrical curved geometry anchors the field with balanced architectural rhythm. A warm oatmeal ground supports stacked registers of charcoal, deep slate, and cool pewter. The graded neutral progression anchors seating areas without visually overwhelming surrounding furnishings.
