Safavieh Novelty Scalloped Medallion Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Rust / Ivory

Concentric floral bands and scrolled botanical motifs radiate across a shaped starburst medallion profile. A warm rust ground anchors the design against crisp ivory and tan accents for balanced, medium-contrast definition. Tufted by hand in India from pure wool, creating dense looped texture that holds the multi-toned petal geometry sharp. The 3/8-inch wool pile provides substantial underfoot cushion while maintaining crisp perimeter contours. Wool pile retains its loft across years of foot traffic. The Novelty Rug Collection displays creatively styled area rugs with eye-catching motifs, bold colors and a thick wool pile. These craft-art inspired floor coverings are ideally suited as kitchen rugs and decorative accents for the den, the hallway or children’s playrooms. Novelty rugs are hand tufted using pure soft wool with a cotton backing for a cushioned feel underfoot. A concentric rosette expands into scalloped registers and a petal-shaped decorative perimeter. The traditional ornament pairs with an energetic novelty silhouette to create visual movement. A warm rust ground supports ivory accents alongside tan tones to define the intricate motifs.
