Safavieh Oushak Scattered Medallion Hand-Knotted Wool Rug - Ivory / Ivory

Large-scale tribal palmettes and stylized floral motifs float across an open, abrashed field framed by a wide architectural border. A warm tan ground sets off cream motifs with balanced, medium contrast. Tied one knot at a time. The process is slow and exacting, and the rug holds its pattern and structure for generations. The 1/4-inch wool pile is cropped close to maintain motif clarity and provide a smooth, resilient surface underfoot. Wool deepens in character and luster over years of use. The enduring elegance of traditional Turkish rugs is beautifully preserved in the Oushak Collection. The renowned designs and dappled shading (abrash) of authentic Oushak carpets is displayed throughout this exemplary collection. These striking renditions are hand-knotted using 100% pure wool and traditionally styled for today's classic home decor. Spaced palmette ornaments and geometric floral emblems anchor an expansive central field surrounded by classic guard borders. The traditional composition emphasizes architectural balance with an open, collected feel. A warm tan ground anchors cream yarns with gentle tonal depth. The mellowed antique warmth softens rooms with cool stone or stark natural light.
