Oushak Trellis Hand-Knotted Wool Rug - Brown / Rust - 6'-0" x 9'-0"

A classical Oushak drawing arranges stylized palmettes and geometric vinework across a framed field. Warm rust accents sit quietly against a dominant tan ground in a subtle, tonal balance. Tied one knot at a time from pure wool yarns. The process is slow and exacting, and the rug holds its pattern and structure for generations. The 1/4-inch wool pile is cropped close to maintain clear motif separation underfoot. Natural wool fibers soften and gain character through years of use. The enduring elegance of traditional Turkish rugs is beautifully preserved in the Oushak Collection. The renowned designs and dappled shading (abrash) of authentic Oushak carpets is displayed throughout this exemplary collection. These striking renditions are hand-knotted using 100% pure wool and traditionally styled for today's classic home decor. An open lattice of angular palmettes and geometric botanical motifs in a traditional Oushak layout, balanced by a wide guard border. A warm tan ground carries rust motifs, settled rather than bright. The mellowed earth tones ground an airy room without overwhelming it.
