Safavieh Savonnerie Scroll Cartouche Medallion Hand-Tufted Wool Rug - Blue /

Ornate French rococo flourishes and scrolling acanthus leaves frame an architectural center cartouche, grounding classical European drawing in dense wool. A neutral light gray field provides medium contrast for soft powder blue and pink scrollwork. Tufted by hand from pure wool, dense enough to hold the scrolling curves and cartouche crisp. The 3/8-inch wool pile feels firm, supportive, and resilient underfoot. Natural wool fibers age gracefully and gain character over time. The Savonnerie Rug Collection captures the rich, luxurious look and feel of 18th century classic French floor coverings. The elegant design of prized Savonnerie rugs that once graced the palaces of Europe is masterfully recreated for today's classy home decor. Savonnerie is hand-tufted using the finest wool and traditionally styled for centerpiece area rugs with the character to transform room décor. A traditional scrollwork composition inspired by historic Savonnerie textiles, centering a delicate radial floral motif within layered architectural borders and curling acanthus cartouches. A vibrant French blue ground supports soft dusty rose, sage green, and muted ivory flourishes throughout the inner frame. The balanced cool and pastel tones bring fresh light to low-lit interiors.
